announced that they have entered into a memorandum of agreement to found
a joint venture company – NETMARKS VIETNAM, the purpose of which will be
to provide network integrating solutions and software development
service.
Recently, with the join of Vietnam into WTO and the development of
strategic relationship between Vietnam and Japan, there has been a
second wave of investment from Japanese investors to Vietnam. According
to the statistics report by The Japan Business Association, there have
been more than 200 Japanese companies operating in Hanoi and more than
300 Japanese companies operating in HCMC in the year of 2006. Moreover,
some Japanese-specific industrial parks have been established such as
Thang Long industrial park in Hanoi and Nomura industrial park in Hai
Phong, attracting many giants to build their factories and offices
there. As a result, the demand for networking integration and software
solution becomes extremely higher than ever before.
